apparently the only way to hear early is if you sign up for some kind of vip notification system which makes the application pool like rolling admissions. i just asked my college advisor about it the other day. us normal people hear on the 15th

Uou don't sign up for it; they contact you about it. It's a marketing ploy based purely on your PSAT scores. If you ended up just being good at standardized tests and have shitty grades/shat the bed with the SAT/otherwise suck, they'll reject you even if you applied through the VIP app. From what I understand, the VIP app program has like a 1/10 conversion rate for acceptances to matriculations...its aimed at students who they think wouldn't think of UVM otherwise.

nice man. the bestki on my high school's soccer team got a full ride to Dartmouth. He is in my ap bio class and all he does is smoke before class. he just has to keep a 3.0 to the end of the year

wow, tons of nsers applied to uvm... i got in there, but decided to go south instead (university of richmond)... might've been a bad idea but not complaining as i have a full-time job for next year. jealous though - i could go for 4 more years of college.

Sweet. Just let him know that Dartmouth soccer doesn't pussyfoot around; they'll drug test him. We made it to NCAAs Sweet Sixteen this year, looking to do better next.

sorry for trip post. If he says that he's getting a full ride, he's lying; Dartmouth doesn't give athletic scholarships, I think it's an Ivy League rule.

We don't have merit scholarships either, actually. The only way to get money to from Dartmouth is to demonstrate need. Which is why our athletics aren't usually nationally competitive...the only super-good athletes we get are the ones who don't want to go pro, and are trying to build a career.
