a girl from my team coxs there! i went to their rowing camp a couple years ago, yeah it isn't the most prestigious program out there but great nonetheless! good luck!

Yeah I done some demographic research on CSM, not too excited about that. I have yet to visit the campus (I live in Ohio), prolly going in late feburary. But being smack in the middle between SDenver and the mountains, I have no complaints. Plus not too many schools offer degrees in petroleum engineering.

yeah i went there last spring. it was alright cause you could tell that 1/2 the kids went there to learn and 1/2 the kids went there cause its close to skiing. i skied at breck for a day while i was there which was legit but idk if i want to end up going there.

Im looking into it because it provides the best of both worlds. A legitmate engineering degree with an opprotunity to study abroad and co-op. And the ability to actually ski as much as I want as well as live in an amazing city.

i agree with that, but its a little small for me. not that thats a bad thing but personal preference. and even though its a good school, i feel like it would be better to have a degree from a school more people have heard of haha. but its still a sick little school and the only school worth going to in colorado haha

when i said no attractive girls i meant ones that actually went to Penn. there were attractive girls at said frats from nova or st. joes, but none that actually attend penn. philly is an awesome city if you know what you're doing

Normally, a degree from one school may be worth more than a degree from another. But gas and energy companies are on their knees for you if you have a degree from petroleum engineering. One of my buddies goes to Marietta (small liberal arts school in southeast Ohio), and he's already on salary and set for a job as soon as he graduates.

i agree. but im just saying, a degree from USC in petroleum engineering probably looks better than one from CSM, if only due to the fact that more people have heard of USC.

Just had surgery today, came home and found out I also got accepted to UVM in addition to Westminster, still waiting to hear from the U, but I know Ill get in there. Either way, next year is gonna be dope.

Yeah, I heard back pretty quick. I'm from EC and I'm looking to go somewhere far away, so UVM isn't where I'll end up. First choice would be SLC, maybe the U....maybe Westminster....idk, pros and cons?

Just got accepted to La Salle University in philly with 11 grand a year in scholarships. Did early decision to Champlain in Burlington, Vermont so im hoping thats the school i go to

Don't lol at me; WKN is by far one of the most prestigious schools in the universe. I'm getting recruiting offers from Bama, LSU, and Cornell for lax; Cornell only offered me $20g/year though so I can't go there haha. WKN just has this fantastic bihydrogen oxide program with TONS of options for field work, and I feel like I can go further there. Lol at Bama the admissions director offered to lick my nuts if I came...I let him but I'm going to WKN anyway!!!

UVM lets you hear back pretty quick. Westminster gave me 11 grand/year. I'm thinking I'll check out Salt Lake City in January, stay at the schools and hit up a couple mountains. I ski in VT and never seen snow out west.
