i assumed that one of the 8 schools i was told i would be recruited to would actually come through but none of them have. my only option for next year is UVM

Yeah, I dont think I'll get in. But I'm pretty happy with my choices so far. It seems that whitman hooks it up. I got a sweet deal and a bunch of people I know got a decent amount of money.

Hit up St. Lawrence.  The liberal arts college experience can't be beat, period.  Instead of all of the larger state schools on your list, where you're just near skiing, with SLU you're near skiing and you get a great community on campus.

Gator, I'm in the same position as you. Got into Colorado College early and decided not to apply to any of the other schools I'd been looking at, only applied to a few long shot schools (Stanford, Dartmouth, Harvard) that I didn't spend much time on the application. Now, here we are at the end of March, and I didn't get into any of those, and I get my financial aid from CC and I didn't get that much. I'm kind of lost. Thinking I might take next year off and move somewhere and just get a job and ski. Not really sure what to do.
