So you can apply to an infinite amount of schools and then just choose wherever? Or do you have some limitations?

u can apply any place you want. no limits
but apps cost money.

or you can do early decision where it is a binding decision meaning if you get in there you have to go there

Thats not true, early decision just means youll find out before everyone who applies after a given date. You do not have to go at all

early action just lets you know before others. I did early decision to my school so after you get in they make you cancel all your other applications

Sounds perplexing. Here you can only get into one school in the duration of one year and applying to a large amount is not very easy due to overlapping entrance exam dates in many schools.

the only way to not attend a school you get into early decision is if you apply for financial aid, and they give you so little that you cannot pay. but generally if you're accepted e.d., they give you enough $ to attend.

and i got into clark, so currently 2 for 2.

also if you were deferred from dartmouth, you're in the same boat as like every one else on earth.

also if you're going to be applying next year, i'm on campus this winter and i'll host if you're seriously considering.

hey uhhh so you should apply somewhere else so i can go to dartmouth :)

but so far my acceptance list is:
DU (and some honors college thing)
Colorado School of Mines
Santa Clara

all with over 10k a year scholarship /claim. all of them are safety schools though.

and i got deferred from dartmouth ED. my chances arent looking great :/
