Remembering CR Johnson from Darryl Hubble on Vimeo.
My language teacher had us write about heroes and their most important qualities and I chose tenacity as the most important quality as a hero. Well, she made us use an example from real of life of a true hero who shows tenacity and I immediately thought of CR to write about. I wrote about his tenacity during his recovery process and then about how he was immediately was set on going back to skiing. A true hero.
RIP
Keep shredding the pow in heaven
what a stud. i remember watching his stuff wayyyy back in the day and loving it. him, dave crichton, and steele always seemed to ski with a big smile on their faces from day 1 and just love being able to do what they're passionate about. CR seems like a really genuine guy, which is a very admirable quality. doesnt' find himself lost in his image or trying to put on a show. definitely not a sell-out. he just rips, straight up.
mad props. hate hearing bad things happen to good people. but, at the bare minimum, he's always going to be remembered by the freeskiing community. RIP
