Apparently this is not able to be warrantied???????

So my skis delaminated last year...These pictures show when i first found out...Click for larger image

Then after the ski shop i ordered them from told me to ski them out and to wait to warranty the skis and wait for the AR7's...this happened

Armada claims impact damage when clearly it happened after the delamination of the skis....I was a huge armada fan....My love for their skis just declined a lot...I'm hugely upset about this...don't know what you guys think...but i think its outrageous

that's the main reason i have never and will never buy a pair of armada skis. i worked in a shop that sold them and a couple claims took up to 2 months and they said no warranty.

if you want to buy a twin tip specific company, buy line! they've got killer customer service.

I have been skiing Armadas for many years and have never seen a ski do that. I ski them pretty hard on rails jumps, urban everything and the skis don't just come apart like that. I'm not sure what you did for the ski to do that but you it had to be your fault not Armadas... Also I have sent skis back from many years ago to their warranty program and they are all super nice and have always helped me out. I wouldn't get fired up about it because it looks like something that is not under warranty.

thats exactly my thoughts! cut the kid some slack he is prolly already pretty bummed about his skis and then that kid (who isnt man enough to say it on his real account) has to come in and be an asshole to the kid...i hope your skis do the same...fucker.

And im trying to warranty some ar6's as well. Mine rockered in the tails a shit ton. Not too sure how it happened, but they'll probably say its "impact damage". any other opinions?

my ar5s did this exact thing. same story. still have them broken in my basement.

i will never ride an armada ski again, nor will i rep any product with their name on it.

Its also your shops fault for telling you to ride broken skis, ofcourse they are going to get worse.

my last pair of ar6's i ran into a bomb hole and they rockered and armada warrantied them....this pair just flat out delammed then got worse as i skied them and they wont warranty them....anyways riley with armada let me send them into him...if he thinks its not impact damage hes either hooking me up with a pair of ar7's or a cheap pair of ar7's...no guarantees tho...ill hope for the best

If they really do fuck you over like that then it is pretty easy to fix. It should only be used as a last resort though, and it is better than having no skis at all. Get glue all down in that bitch and then on the tip tip put an appropriate sized bolt through from the bottom up. Looks stupid and all, but it doesn't affect performance too much and like I said, better than nothing.
