thought it was bullshit for a minute but theres a report on the cbs morning daily show thing about it which wasn't what i was expecting.

Here's the deal people. How in the FUCK do you expect "Aliens" to travel the millions of light years from their planet (which would have to be able to sustain life, and little indication from the hubble teleschope has found anything remotely close to earth)

They would have to live on a planet similar to earth. Nothing could be derived from Earth with the capability of traveling million of light years away in minutes/months/a lifetime and "fly around our sky".... that's the way I see it.

we also had that a few weeks ago in montreal, wel, something in the sky.

Ziegler was driving along Cavendish Blvd. around 1 a.m. when he saw the bizarre object, near the intersection of Kildare Rd. He parked his car and got out to get a better look, he said.

He said it was like nothing he had ever seen before. It had blue and red twinkly lights, and looked nothing like a plane or someone shining a flashlight at the sky. The sighting left him feeling very disturbed, he said.

“The pattern of motion was erratic – it was moving up and down, sideways. It was not like a flying saucer, more like a couple of triangles,” he said.

There was another guy on the street looking up at the sky, he said. He went over and they looked at it together, agreeing that they were seeing something unusual. The guy said his girlfriend also saw it and was “freaked out.” Another woman in the parking lot also witnessed what they took to be a UFO.

haha I have my fingers crossed, I remember telling people to read visions when that came out on NS and now there are a lot of people who are Kaku fans. That probably has a lot more to do with his appearance on TV shows but I like to think I made a difference.

Learn to read brah. OF COURSE NOT. But in our direct solar system, which in my opinion would be the only possible depth of travel possibility, there are no planets with life forms as intelligent as ours. Time travel has basically be proven to be impossible to survive. So you tell me, how is an alien going to travel such immense distances and make it to our planet to drive around in the air for a few minutes than dissapear and drive the millions of lightyears home home. ha..right.

some retired guy from NORAD who had a lot to do with alien shit or whatever predicted years ago that aliens will come in contact with the earth around october 13 2010.
so i guess its a little weird that there is all these sightings recently.

also has anyone noticed a lot of military helicopters flying?
ive seen a shitload recently and so have my friends

Just trying to point out that trying to understand the technology and motives of a species thousand even millions of years more advanced than ourselves is foolish.

Are there Aliens that have visited earth? Probably not, but pretending to know an absolute answer by predicting their technological advancements is not the way to go.

not implying that at all, just saying that if there is the possibility of beings of higher intelligence being able to explore the entirety of the universe in the wink of an eye. if there is they would want to cover and document the entirety of the universe. look at how we treat the earth today, were constantly attempting to classify/identify the unclassified unidentifiable portions of our planet, imagine if we were on the level of galaxy exploration.

saying things like time travel and lightspeed travel are impossible are like being the idiots who opposed a heliocentric solar system or the earth was flat, just a few years down the line. we dont know anything.

Im not ruling out the possibility of intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. I just think people who think that they have visited/do visit earth are rather misguided.


I dont think time travel (into the future) is impossible... by all means it is theoretically possible and does actually occur according to general relativity. At least in the sense that travelling at higher speeds = slower relative time. I doubt it is possible to travel into the past however.

I think the analogy you made regarding a flat earth/heliocentric solar system is a bit off. Science doesn't just change randomly. Its not like we'll wake up tomorrow and the earth with be a cube and we will orbit mars. We know more and more every day. (obviously, that doesn't have anything to do with aliens etc. but i just wanted to make that point.)
