So i stumbled on this website about a week ago and was horrified by the prejudice against Gapers, but more than that....worried by the fact that my ski gear may infact class me as one.

Please judge me.

like most people have said man don't worry...just work on your skills and when people see you bustin on the slopes they won't give a shit what you're wearing, plus ignore most of the little rats on here they're just middle/upper class white kids who try and act like hood ass kids wearing their dads tshirts and listening to commercial rap (see the contradiction)...they're the gapers. just do as you choose, be yourself and you'll attract like minded people that way = you having a good season bud...you don't wanna befriend anyone who judges people by outfit anyway lets face it...ha

very true /\ dont worry about the style points. if you are concerned about looking like a gaper, id go baggier clothes, but kids you suck make fun of gapers so they feel good that someone sucks more than they do

You mean it's how they fuck up lips on the jumps because they go up the tranny and stay grounded down the other side....

By the way, most gapers (at my mountain at least) are like a bunch of 9 year old hyped up on skittles. So you're good.
