so not true. I do both soccer and XC. And i know a couple kids from other schools who do both as well.
And you should vary your exercises. you can have days where you run 5 miles at a conversation pace, or days where you're working your ass off doing hill repeats. And it all kinda depends on what you want to accomplish.
Hate to argue bro. but the kid he is talking about is a fucking amazing runner. the kid broke a course record yesterday on a course that is 50% up hill and 50% down hill, and he was jogging (no lie, the kid wasn't tired) and then today he ran a time trial on 1.5 mile course and broke it the first time by 3 seconds, and then re-ran the 1.5 mile and missed the record again by about 5 or 6 seconds. and he is a sophomore.
I don't know mine. But for track my record 1600 is a 4:39.
