go take a psychology class. even if a person is unaware, subconsciously they feel more connected to a group of people sharing the same interests. not only that... they can choose to be anonymous on here so even if they are judged, they're not judged... because nobody knows who they are to judge them so the impact isn't on the same level. they can get their voice out and be heard... without having anybody having preconceived notions of them.

and by the way, be respectful. people don't realize that some people who use the internet to vent their feelings and get some sort of feedback are already having a really tough time dealing with whatever it is they're dealing with on their own.

they probably can't talk about it w/ people they know.. i.e. facebook/myspace/family/friends
so they use this site hoping to get some sort of feedback. people crave relationships with other people, whether they are real-life, online, writing letters, etc.

so get the fuck over yourself and come back when your balls drop or something.

Sorry. We just don't want to hear about peoples problems. Its just to fucking depressing to hear about peoples lifes that are going down the shitter. What the fuck can we do besides comfort them over the internet? Almost nothing unless you know them in real life.

you would be surprised.. the smallest help goes a long way. your statement just shows that you really don't care about anyone.. unless you know them in person. you care more about yourself feeling sad/bad for the person with the problem instead of how the person with the problem must feel... what you're saying is you would rather not deal with bullshit than have someone voice their feelings even if it helps them cope. a little selfish? it's not like you have to click on every thread, nonetheless actually READ THEM.

Anyways some of us dont even have facebook so maybe NS is the place for people to talk about stuff.

We all share one thing in common- skiing. This helps people to feel more connected, safe, and secure when talking about life.

People who complain about people sharing their emotions must make you some cold heated people. Don't read it if you don't want to hear it. Simple as that.
