The New Freeskier...

I was actually thoroughly impressed with the Women's Issue of Freeskier.

I read it this morning, and I frothed at the Helsinki Urban Section where all the photos from that trick (T-Wall, B-Dog, Ahmet) were printed.

Not only that but, Freeskier also highlighted girls that are actually making it big, Megan Gunning, and Devin Logan.

Finally, the 2 pretz 2 trick tip with Wallisch put the icing on the cake.

I'm glad Freeskier is stepping up their game.

only thing that made this different from any other freeskier mag is that it had more girls. it was no better than any other half decent freeskier mag.

got it today flipped through was pretty solid definitely looking at women in a different light then they used to 2 p 2 was sick as were other sections wasn't a fan of the bula add on the back but whatever

The women's issue is my least favorite of them all.There is a reason why women are barely in ski flicks lets not waste a precious issue of Freeskier dedicated to them. I find it a waste of issue, especially since there are only 6 per season.

ski media is pretty simply = you get what you pay for

there is a reason ski journal is epic, but costs 40 bucks for a yearly subscription for 4 issues

Yep, Freskier is actually the shittiest of all the skiing publications. I was reading an issue of my SBC and they kill it in and out with interesting, compelling and hilarious articles while freeskier does not.
