I dont go to college yet but a close friend of mine is a freshman at University of Colorado at Boulder. I heard its wicked with mountains all around and that there's hella bud there. I know a bunch of people on here are from Boulder so they could tell you more

Seattle University. You can hike Mt. Baker and Mt Rainier and get turns year round. Mt Hood is only 3 hours away. Its kick ass.

I went to Michigan State and it was awesome.  I loved it.  Now I take classes at the Wayne State Med School.  Not so many parties anymore...

University of delaware. parties are rockin. 60% ladies. winterbreak is december 17th - february 7th so tons of time to ski. best place on earth

Norwich University. Its more than half military, so it kinda sucks in male to female ratio but the academics are decent, they gave me a bunch of money, they had the major I wanted, and Vermont has a bunch of mountains.

my cousin is at CU and he says its great. and a good place to go if you want to meet pro skiers i guess. Jon Brogan is right next to him in his dorm and he hung out with Bobby Brown the other night. and im pretty sure he said Brogan is taking him to the x games with him. sounds like a good deal to me

its not entirely business, but the main focus is business. we have an integrated liberal arts and business cirriculum, and you have to option to do an LSM, or liberal studies major. i would say that at least 85 percent are business majors but a lot of kids double major with an LSM

i love pitt as a college but not as a campus. i hate being in the city...
it's a really good school for a lot of different majors and i know i'm getting an awesome education. party scene is meh, i mean it's not a party school but we still have fun.

I was impressed with Pitt when I visited it last year. Have some friends who go there, and as a Penn State student I'm supposed to talk shit on you but the campus was really nice compared to what i thought a city school would be like. I got my Primanti Brothers and Brueggers and got the fuck out of Pittsburgh, however. No way I could go to school there. There was a Red Bull rail jam thing going on that my friends wouldn't stop to check out. I was totally jealous.

And to answer OPs question, I go to Penn State. Party scene is fucking awesome, skiing not so much. I am a junior here and honestly have skied three times since I came to college, after skiing multiple times a week all through high school. Lost my drive to ski all the time when all I could get to without a car was shit.

i'm just not a city person. i mean pittsburgh is a nice city, but pitt isn't in the city, it's in oakland...DIRTY! it's a great campus and i really shouldn't rip on it but it's just not for me.

a lot of people bitch about the party scene, but imo it's pretty fucking fun, and i drink a lotttttt... so... plus a D1 ski team, and mountains are close, plus we have a "study period" all january, which is code for we get to ski for a month
