suicide is a solution to people who have an unnatural inability to cope with life's problems. they are not equipped with the same coping mechanisms of the average human being. they often have a chemical imbalance, whether by birth, or by negative environment. they have the ability to seek treatment in order to either build an understanding of their problematic behavioral patterns, or to be prescribed the appropriate drugs based on their conditions and therefore being able to proceed in learning how to cope with situations and problems.
it is in no way appropriate to assume anyone who is suicidal was thinking rationally at the time of the incident. most people who have suicidal thoughts are viewing the world through a filter. they are subliminally believing a reality that may not exist. they have a story for how they will be treated, and how people are, and what they are worth, and don't see what's really in front of them because they are blinded by these filters.
depression so bad to the point of suicide, or even mental illness, or even personality disorders are what set these people apart from the average person. no they are not sore thumbs, or terrible people. they are humans who lack something essential to survival and who just need to reinstall their software.
it's is completely wrong, immoral, unfair, uncalled for, for anyone who has never suffered any kind of level of depression, or been through enough therapy, to even judge, or misinterpret the life through the eyes of someone who is or has been suicidal. you don't know, how they feel everyday when they get up. you don't know how they feel when they go to bed at night.
no nothing can be as bad as it seems, but a lot of you don't know very much about our minds.
teenagers especially, are mentally undeveloped. their brains are still growing, and they often do not see long term consequences, but they only see short term. so when things happen they only see how severe it is, instead of how on the bigger scale of things, it really doesn't matter.
everyone grows up differently. everyone has a different life, different thoughts and opinions. everyone will view and experiences life's experiences differently, and everyone will generally learn something different from the situation.
calling someone with a disability, or mental illness, or anything, worthless, or stupid, not good enough, etc, will only make things worse, and will only fan the flame.
i'm not justifying their decisions, i'm validating their emotions.
every human being on this planet, wants to feel like they belong, wants to be loved, acknowledged. there is nothing you can say to me, or act as tough as you want, but i will not change my mind. and ostracizing someone, or alienating them, taunting them, and making them feel so worthless, is a major problem. i don't think a lot of you see how severe of a problem it is. this isn't a question of sucking it up, this is a question of compassion, something clearly a lot of you lack. no one wants to be called, stupid, ugly, fat, or be mistreated for their color of their skin, hair, eyes, height, weight, ethnicity, background, language.
some of you are responsible for making people hurt and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
