yes i played soccer for 15 years, i have taken a soccer ball to the head and face on more than one occasion. it does hurt, but fuck mouthguards. you guys HAVE to wear them in the states?

ya but u can usually rock the tape, at least i did when i played lax
you just take black or red or anything but white tape, and then like stick it to itself a few times, so that the non-sticky side is out on both sides, then wrap it around your teeth and just smile and talk kinda weird when they ask u if u have one.

yea i remember one of my buddies who played in highschool having to wear a mouthguard every game.

I would've hated it, but the again, I'm a keeper so i spend a good bit of each match yelling instructions. seems like a mouthguard would get in the way of that.

haha, i dont even know what section 2 is.... the capitol district? albany? that sucks...
the only ones i know about are 1, 8, and 9 (mostly from lax though).

section 1 is one of the best sections in the state, amazing lacrosse, great football, and im pretty sure some good soccer.

we beat guilderland in Lax this past season. amazing game actually, it was broadcast live too.

for lax, we have John Jay, Somers, Rye, Yorktown, some of the most well known and heavily recruited public schools in the country.

nisky is good at lax. the rest arent really anything great...
and as far as football? i mean we went to the state finals in 2001, rye has gone to the state finals a couple years in a row. somers has too. we have some really dirty teams.

never understood why high school soccer uses such shit brand balls. Even college. My school had ridiculous adidas uniforms and training equipment, then played games with a fucking brine ball that costs $8 from the bin at wal-mart.
