IEEE 1394 cable

for window movie maker it says i need one of these cable to send my video back to my camra. What is this. I have a like a firewire or usp wire. But what one is this and how much are they

its a firewire cable - also known as IEEE 1394 or iLink as sony calls it. kinda stupid every company calls it something different. usb cables dont have the capacity to transfer high quality digital video.

make sure you have the right kind of firewire cable though - the port on the camera uses a 4 pin connector and most computers have 6 pin connections so you need a 4 pin to 6 pin cable. 4 pin to 4 pin cables are used to hook 2 cameras up to copy footage
