I used off the rack custom foodbeds too, I think my current ones are Soles but it doesnt really matter.
The most important thing is to make sure they're filled in underneath, I had my bootfitter use a semi rigid foam similar to the boot board in most freeride boots, because if they're not flat against the flat surface of the boot board. If they're not flat you're foot won't be stable and you'll just crush the foot bed which will make it not as effective as it could be.
Remember you want your foot mostly immobilized.
