Skis and good fit clothes for Girl

I guess this is a hello :) and a pretty easy question. I've been creeping here for a bit and I wanted my own pair of park skis for this year. I tried out one of my guy friends old freestyle skis last year and I had more fun try new tricks in the park than just skiing around the mountain. ;) I have two questions. One: Ski budget like $500. I have boots. I'm 5'5", and weigh like 117. I raced from when I was 8-11, but it wasn't my cup of tea.

Also, for any other ladies, where can I get some tall clothing that fits our bodies well?

Salomon Mai Tais are sweet skis for girls .. little softer than their bigger brother the suspect but still pretty stiff. Works well all mountain and in the park.

If you have bindings already from old skis that work well with your weight, then just toss those on there.

Orage Outerwear came out with some pretty sweet ladies stuff this year. Fits pretty g for the ladies as well.

Yeah Mai Tais are flat mount skis, you will need to buy the bindings separate. How old are you (not being weird trying to help)?

umm lots of companies are making womens specific park skis but you cant go wrong with rossi, line, k2 and what not.

just make sure you get the right size and buy form someone who knows park stuff

Yes, bindings are what your boots clip into, and pricing varies quite a bit depending on the product. I'd go to your local ski shop and have a look at what they have in stock. If you want a nice pair of bindings they're going to cost quite a bit, if you're just looking for a set thats functional I don't think you'd need to go over $140

Thanks for the responses so far. And I'm expected to post pictures of myself on the internet to prove my gender? In that case, I require pictures of every blue name in this thread just to prove that they're actually male, and not some stalker 81 year old lady who should've been the showcase premier on "To Catch a Predator"
