Tele binding

My tele bindings are mounted just behind the mid point of my skis. my friends tele bindings are centered. What is the difference I have skied on both but I am wondering if there is an advantage to one over the other in certain conditions

It depends on what you're doing... A more park oriented ski will obviously call for a more center mounted binding.
However, I ski big mountain, and my bindings are pushed back. The further back you mount your bindings, the more aggressive it is for the big mountain shred

Prob true, but some, like me, mount more centered to have a longer tail and quick turning in trees etc..

But whats more inportant, this is about tele... There are different methods with tele bindings to decide where to mount.. I dont know how that all works, but search in other places, on NS there are not a lot of tele guys/girls..
