One of the most epic things ever, doing that would be too fun
Only thing is you have to have hundreds or thousands of skydives under your belt before you get to play with wingsuits.  Not to mention the money it would cost for the suit, and the #of dives before you get certified.

So sick, must be so amazing to do that and have the freedom while flying like that... that road was featured in seven sunny days I think...so awesome,! Base jumping is so dangerous and risky, too many good lives have been lost to it; just check my sig for starters...

my 5 year goal is to get into that. next summer im going to take lots of skydiving lessons then hopefully after a few years move onto this.

You only need 200 jumps to jump a wingsuit per USPA recommendations, but you can basically do whatever you want if you are stupid enough to try.  A wing suit is only about $1000 retail, but if you are good at finding deals you can get one for about $700 on a group order or other type of hookup.  My roomate is getting one as we speak, hopefully I can get more jumps next year and get into it.

getting certified seems expensive and time consuming. why cant i just buy a wingsuit and a parachute and huck myself off some big ass cliffs?

Fuck yes. I was going to post this. The experiences you can get flying low down slopes like that are definitely worth dying for. God damn. I still have 4 more years to keep jumping and working toward my goal to wingsuit by the time I'm 25.

Ahhh it's just so epic. When you cut down a small valley like that you are either going to do it, or die. There is so much commitment. You just keep your arms out like a motherfucker, and do it. So insane and awesome.

i'm sure you have to get certified and everything, but ive met some people who do it who are pretty young, and one of them told me when they do passes they just try to get a little lower each time etc. what i'm getting at is that this guy def wasn't coming off as a genius. He had experience, but he didn't make it seem like squirrel suiting was that hard to get into

That would be the gnarliest thing ever! Imagine jumping out of an airplane, flying around for a few minutes and then just land on the ground without a chute. oh, the adrenaline!
