hey i have a pair of 93 wide line anthem's and im gearing away from the park and looking to get more of a pow/all mountain ski looking for 100mm waist maybe at least.

but my question will haveing a much wider skis be more of a pain on east coast mountains. il be doing sugar loaf loon and sunday river.

nah, I have a buddy who skis reverse camber/sidecut Donner party's with some insane width underfoot on the EC... he's insane, and I hate him for it.... but he does it

my park ski is 105? underfoot and its fine... wider skis are way better on big booters and it didnt take to long getting used to rails

93 is fine for me in pow. And I only think this because I have never skied on anything fatter, and hope I don't for a while still so when I finally switch over it'll be the best experience of my life.

thats what I did! I was riding powder in 171 anthems... then one time last year I demoed 185 JJs on an 22" pow day dat crested butte... Best thing in the world! and now I bought a pair haha

nah man, you'll be fine. i ski pa for half my season, and the narrowest ski i spend time on are 183 blends. it's always nice having something wider, when i show up at blue mountain on 189 ll2s, people just stare, but they really are quite fun on hard snow.

friend of mine slays park on his line blends; so they are def. good for it!

i myself have a pair of 80mm joysticks and 108mm p4 skis and i like em both; the p4 is a bit heavy, but besides the little more swingweight and length i like both skis equally much....

it's just a little different style with fatter/heavier skis; but you can definately lay down with them...

also 100mm isn't very fat, so don't worry :)

yeah, back in the day my 108mm p4 was the fattest ski in the whole shop, nowadays almost anything under 110 and not rockered is considered an allround ski :)
(figure of speach ya know...)
i'm not starting a definiton of "fat" here, just, 100mm waist is very polyvalent and isn't necessarily a powder tool .....
