Well not living, but still a fucking raptor.
My dad is a professor of art at a college near me. Aside from teaching, he makes scale, bronze, exact replicas of various dinosaurs. In that line of work, he met a guy that has been sending him dinosaur fossils to mount. In the past, he's just been getting smaller ones like zuniceratops', but now he's getting a fully grown raptor to mount.
Why am I saying all this? Because I think it would be cool for newschoolers to see how a bunch of incoherent pieces of "rock" come to life, so to speak, to create a dinosaur.
So all that being said, I will be documenting the whole mounting process in this thread for everyone to see, starting from when it gets here in crates to when it ships out, fully assembled. So keep an eye out, because it should get here very soon!
