Character Customization

So, not only can you pick the general look of your character based on your first perk selection, you will also be able to buy shit to alter his appearance. One of the things I can confirm is the Face Paint option. There are 21 different choices that can be purchased, with the top thirteen being $500. They are the following:

Crom
Highlander
Sidewinder
Martis
Millitia
Apache
Sandman
Zulu
Blitz
Commando
Tundra
Banshee

Offline MP with AI confirmed


Game Modes

Normal

  • Team Deathmatch (12 players)
  • Merc Team Deathmatch (No parties)
  • Free for All (8 players, no really large maps)

The ANTE UP (Free-for-all based, 6 players, low buy-in, parties allowed) category includes:

  • One in the Chamber
  • Sticks and Stones - tomahawk, knife, and crossbow only
  • Gun Game - You unlock a better gun with each kill...and lose a "level" with death instead of starting from the beginning
  • Sharpshooter

Wager Match-- gamble your COD points for a bigger pay day. Top 3 get the cash.

Contracts - They look to be the replacement for challenges now. Contracts help you earn more CoD money throughout the game, but they do expire within a certain time-frame and in order to complete them in the future, it looks like you will have to buy them back.

It's still in... only it takes skill to do it like it did back in the first Modern Warfare because you don't have the aim assist PLUS the retarded fast ADS with Sleight of Hand pro.

alot of my friends and people I know are like, "Oh, it's not gonna be good because it doesn't have good graphics."
that just makes me want to kill them. Nintendo's graphics aren't very good but they make amazing games.
So just play the game, it's supposed to be fun

Yeah kind of lame, especially if SOH and assault rifle power/accuracy are anything like in MW2. I didn't really see quickscoping as problem in MW2. Those guys would never dominate games and just barely break even, the montages just made it look worse.

That sucks.

I'm stoked that they got rid of SOH for snipers, it will be good like cod4 quickscoping. Not everyone is going to be able to quickscope, only the skilled ones..

I just found this.

The map looks so sick, everything looks cartoony since it looks like a nuke testing site or something. The sniper is the L96 gold camo.. WANT

It was the Slieght of Hand Pro that made !Sing in MW2 so bad. Being able to bring up the gun that fast was stupid especially for a gun that is meant to be a long range weapon.

The problem is that in MW2 snipers are pretty much useless without SOHP. The assault rifles have a crazy range, they can easily drop a sniper before he even has time to scope in.

I was so good at quick scooping in cod4 but in mw2 it was way to easy like i would miss cause i couldn't adapted to the fast scoping.

Some guy on GameSpot got the game early and has been doing single player (supposedly). Apparently at the beginning you can choose your "gore level" or the amount of blood and guts you see. He said on the highest setting (or realistic I would guess) it is even more gory than W@W (W@W had limbs getting blown off and blood spurting out of them)

the only shitty part that i can see so far is that its still kind of nooby, and i don't like all the killstreaks: the new chopper gunner (gunship), + others

treyarch, who made this game also made w@w which put the cod name to shame. notice how w@w trailers looked sick but 2 months into the game every1 realized how terrible treyarch is..... aka mp40 dual clip juggy steady aim..... yeayea ump for mw2 but they dont even compare in unfairness (yea made up word whatver). everyone went back to play cod4 (which is still the best cod for multiplayer). this game is guna be a shit show the first two months, everyone will go back to mw2 or even cod4 for that matter...

if your getting bored w mw2 why dont u challenge yourself and play GB then huh?

did you ever play call of duty 3. the multiplayer was fun but couldnt change anything. have you noticed how cod 4 was the best cod to come out becuase thats when they started to make the multiplayer good with choosing your gun attachements, perks, everything. that was a good game. treyarch made cod 5 similar to cod 4. they didnt do good on there first go and ya it wasnt the best but was better then MW2 when it comes to realistic. you actually have to lead people when sniping, guns didnt shoot exactly straight like cod 4 and MW2. it actually somewhat challenged you one way or another. Also treyarch is the only company that looks back at all previous call of dutys to understand what they made mistakes on. they mix up the perks and restrict some with certain guns. they made zombies which without a dout everyone loves. the game will be better then what all the haters think. But thats just me

yea zombies is fun but u cannot say that w@w is better than mw2... yea the regular lobbies in mw2 are a joke.... but please anyone try GB and tell me "oh i will quickscope kids it so easy." see what happens when you walk your hardass around with SoH Intervention... and cod4 is wayyyyy better than w@w without a question. I like the idea of a world war 2 game but the online was soooo poorly done. cod4 set the standard, but yes zombies are the shit.

I've ripped the treyarch games as much as anyone...

but one thing I realized is Treyarch really takes the input from the community seriously...and they implement a lot of the ideas.
