has anyone owned a chevy trailblazer?

I have had one for 3? or so years... I love it because it's good for skiing and going camping and shit like that and i've just become attached to the thing. but i've had soooo many problems with it.. alternator, battery, starter/ignition.

just tonight i couldn't turn my car off completely, the engine would turn off but the key wouldn't turn any further and it would get locked, preventing me from being able to take it out and forcing the battery to drain.

if any of you NS have owned or know anybody who has owned a chevy TB and have had problems with it... let me know. i can't decide if the car is worth keeping and trying to fix each problem that pops up or just ditching it and getting another car entirely.

i know all cars have issues sooner or later, but this is getting to be ridiculous.

had a 95 s10, head gasket blew at 125km. GM is a joke, the thing will be worth more to you in scrap metal

IMO GM products are really hit or miss. I had a Sierra that had constant problems but my mom has an '03? Blazer and that thing as litterally has had like no problems. Just regular maintanince. I think that if you are having all these problems now, they are just going to keep coming up.

Ive had 3 S10s and a 99 Silverado, all of them were bulletproof and had zero problems.

Fuck I beat the shit out of my current 98 S-10 and treat it like a fullsize farm truck and it still runs like a champ.

The past 4 chevys my family has owned all had the fuel pump go out around 90,000 to 120,000. And my mom has a Chrysler van that is a pos, with constant problems.

Thats why I only buy foreign.

I currently have a '99 Chevy Blazer and I have to take it in to get something fixed basically every week. One time when my brother was driving the axel broke and we went flying off the road and we almost ran into a building. We were just gonna buy a new car because we dont wanna waste any more money on this.

i had a 2005 trailblazer. worst fuckin car ever. the only reason we got it was because we got a great deal on it. it was brand new and it sucked. the thing randomly wouldnt start out of nowhere and got the worst mpg. it made tons of rattling noises on the highway. worst fucking car ever

I've got an 05 blazer. it's worked fine since we bought it new. 4 wheel drive is awesome to have. my only complaint is that it is awful on gas. 14 miles/gallon.

First mistake was GM. GM makes some of the poorest quality vehicles your money can buy. We had a Suburban and it was so bad. Thank god it was still under warranty.

i love my car. it's super reliable MOST of the time but it has had more problems than any other car i've heard of.. surfacing in the past year or so... first two years were great up until now.

we have a suburban and its pretty sweet
my dad needs a big car to take my bros on their hockey trips, but the only thing he doesn't like about it is how big it is. he likes the space, but driving it sometimes sucks, specifically parking. its like a 2008, and he said hes gonna get a smaller car for his next one, like a porsche cayenne, bmw x6, or an acura mdx or something cuz i'll be in college and one of my bro's might depending on how long he waits. but mechanically its has been pretty much perfect, and it gets 19mpg, same as my moms bmw 528xi sedan
