Hello NS!

Sense i know how creative you guys are and like making new rails I have a task for you. Below are a couple of images of some of the pipe I have a work. I'm allowed to use any of it in any manner of my choosing. Problem is, i don't know what would flow good, so NS I've chosen to come to you. I can weld any of the materials together, or cut them. Photo-shop, paint, etc. or whatever you want seen put together +k

Photos aren't working

Profile has all of them. until i get them fixed.

1. go into change account settings
2. disable "fancy gui editor"
3. use [img]url[/img]
4. use preview to check if pictures work
5. have thread that works!

i will be happy to provide suggestions once this has been achieved

It is disabled. I think that i'm not locating the image correctly, I use the URL on the top the screen when i'm viewing the picture.

ah yes. this is easy to fix. look in the url for the window that pops up and find where it says "picurl=" the url after that is for the actual picture. use that.

lots and lots of taps... weld some of then together into shapes or something. some of those big diameter pipes could be put together to form fun stuff

yeahh, i was thinking about welding some of the bars together, and then using the roller as something, i don't know it would be cool i guess. the barrel i could stall off or something... I have all the pipe i guess i could weld them to make one massive rail.

Any thoughts on the roller? I have a 3 day weekend and want to get this stuff on the move. so far i'm going to use the barrel as a stall off of, and cut the bars so they weight less and weld them together to make one long box rail type deal.

the big pipes even if you weld them its going to be super heavy to lug around, if your really want them there going to have to sit where you make them. keep looking for pipe like 2in or 3in at the most it will be less welding and easy to move.

use the pipe in the last pic under the I-beams. if your going to make a flat down and you dont have a pipe bender just cut a small small V out of the pipe under where you want a bend, after the V is cut the just meet the ends together and put a tack there.

Alright, thanks man that helps alot because i don't have a pipe bender. You seem to know what your talking about you do this kind of stuff?

im just starting to make some homemade set up's. keep in mind just make the bend very slightly, its easy to cut to mutch of a V out and then your going to end up with to mutch of a down angle if you do cut out to mutch of a V just put a washer, dime or something in there to fill the gap. im finding it better flat steel as the feet for the rail legs like a thin pice of 3in by 8in steel.

know what your welding.... if the pipe is galvanized (witch is just a couting on pipe) you have to grind off the galvanize cout where your going to weld. if just weld the galvanized pipe without grinding the cout off you can die or get really sic if you inhale it. and aluminium can be tricky and a bitch to weld so just stay with steel.

i belive all of it is galv steel, usually i'll bevel the pipe for the most part, and then weld the 2 together.

i would chop up the long ones into 2ft pices and use them as the feet for your rail legs. they look like the stomp in the snow easy.
