If your not wanting a Mac I'd go for Asus. They're great quality and even if they do break many come with 1 year accidental damage coverage and 2 year global warranty standard.

if u have the $$ go for mac i guess. but in all honesty, i work with macs everyday and they're not better than pc for the average user, and they're way more expensive
