So I bought the booters because they fit me by far the best outta any boot ive tried.. Would it be worth it to buy the #6 stiffness tongue to replace the #4 for pow days? HATE the fact that they arent making any stiffer tongues, seems pretty obvious that they are just trying to get extra money outta people

last year i bought a stiffer tounge for my booters for racing, and then just used the softer one for park

It's actually because the #6 Influence tongue is super stiff in order overcome the really soft shell material. Making a #8 Influence tongue wouldn't bend very well, especially with fewer tongue corrugations when compared to the Original tongue design.

No, my answer was just to show that FT wasn't being cheap and that they just can't really make the Influence tongues any stiffer than #6. Whether that is or is not stiff enough for you is something I can't answer over the interweb because I don't know your weight nor have the ability to assess your ankle's range of motion.

I understand that but more of what I am wondering is if the difference is noticeable or if the difference between 4 and 6 is not worth the 50 dollars

go to your boot fitter, see if they have any, and then put a 6 on your left foot and a boot u know is stiff enough for powder on your right. test it out, switch. just like buying boots in the first place
