Adobe Premiere Pro cs5

so i just got Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 last night. it's a great software, but when i drag my video clips onto the timeline and play the video, the video doesn't play. if i stop the video i get a shot of where it would be at if it was playing. please tell me if there is a problem with the software, or if there is something that i need to do to fix this. if you can help please PM me.

Most likely, your computer's too slow... It's also possible that restarting the software/computer could help.

I know I'm not much help, just some ideas... The info you gave wasn't very specific.

before you try and handle a huge task like that, it's usually good to restart your computer and then only do that task when it restarts. Also turn off some of the stupid startup processes if you're on windows.

it should play but  should be more ' play and pause' hell laggy. but if u press enter. it will render the clip and make it smooth playing. also shut down any other softwere u may have running like itunes. hope this helps

tried rendering, didnt work. it might just be the fact that it came from pirate bay, any more help?

click on the part that wont  render then change its time, like when u make it slo mo? just change it a tiny bit so u wont notice
