Replying to How to winterize a MTB or DH bike?
I cant deny it: I love riding. Skiing and biking is at the center of my life and everything else revolves around it. Now that I bough an expensive bike, I only had time to use it 3 times this fall. I want to use it more...much more!
So I am looking for tips to help my front fork (2008 888 VR) deal with the cold conditions. On my experience, (05 sherman slider plus) the fork gets super rigid and I wish to get the same performance in cold conditions I get in warm weather. I am deadly afraid of busting such an expensive fork...but I cant just look at my bike for the next 5 months... I scrapped an X fusion shock because the rebound valve broke due to thick oil 2 years ago.
So bike lovers, please help a guy out!
