1. I will start with this; Hybrids. now i know it can sometimes be a gimmick to make more money for a half-assed car, but it is at the very least a way to save money. I dont understand testosterone juiced meatheads blathering on about how proud they are about their trucks 2 mpg (ex. the i am ashamed to be an american thread).It makes no sense. You're just cocking up some peoples future cuz you don't like being told what to do.
2. get over the fact that scientists know more about the earth than the average ns'er. thats a fact. im sick and tired of people claiming that they have disproved climate change by posting a picture of snow or a glacier and saying that "if climate change is legit how come I still get snow?" The whole point of the theory isn't that the world is gonna become some sand laden desert where no one can ski, its that people have accelerated a natural process to the point of throwing off our whole way of life.
3. we are going to run out of oil. if we dont do something about our complete and total dependency on it, that moment may come sooner rather than later.it is not a renewable resource, unless you happen to have a few million eroding dinosaurs, lots of pressure and a few million years.
4.For people who's main source of joy in life is a sport relying on an occurrence that becomes rarer every year, I'm surprised no one seems to care.
