Replying to Confused.. Help?

Okay, my school had a dance on Wednesday. For the last slow song, I danced with my friend, Ryan. Ever since then, he's been avoiding me. He won't talk to me, and when we pass each other in the hall, he looks away. Nothing happened between us! We danced, and that's it. I have no idea why he's acting like this, but I know it has to be about the dance.


Me: 'How come every time we talk, the subject of my mum using drugs comes up?'
James: 'It doesn't.'
Me: 'It does though.'
James: 'Yeah, it really does.'
(Ten minutes later.)
James: 'Ha! Your mum on drugs!!!'
