Salomon 2012

Hi... I'm buying the new salomon skis 2012.. but I don't know which length should I get.. Im 182 cm tall  (5,11 feet) ... and I'm choosing between the 171 and the 179.. any suggestions?

Longer = Better.
exept for like 200cm skis. Thats kind of pushing it.
But get the 179's, for sure.

Well I'm from the south west part of Slovenia (Europe) so mostly I ski in the Italian or the French side of the alps.. I'm 5,11 , 19 years old and I weigh 215 pounds.. skiing for quite a while.. i like powder and park, thats also why I'm intersted in the 2012 skiis..
I dont know how to answer the buget answer.. becouse in europe we have different prices but I found salomon 2012 skiis on one german site for 350€ with bindings, which is about 490 USD.. for me thats cheap.

Get 179's for sure then. You will want a longer ski especially with those rockers they will feel shorter than their lenght.
