thank you! it is not that hard to get a job in the US. i know two people one whom is a good friend who dropped out of highschool, pretty much failed their way through school before that they are about 25-27 years old now. one has a wife and two kids, and has a job paying like 30 bucks an hour. right after he dropped out, he got a job, moved out at 18, didnt get shit from his parents, and did fine.
yes some people are born into shitty situations, but if your born in some ghetto neighborhood, and get involved with drug's alcohol, gang's etc instead of working, or going to school nomatter how shitty that school or job may be, i have no respect for you and i dont believe they should get any help at all.
the more our government helps out people in "poverty" the worse it gets, people become less and less motivated to get a job, so they have less experience, making it harder to get a job that pays well. if you were 100% on your own i guarantee there would be a lot less extremely poor people in the US.
shit my dad lived in a fucking shack until he was 18, they had an oven for heat, it was basically a kitchen/living room combined, and one tiny bed room for his parents. he had absolutely no help at all from his parents, started working his ass off at 14, paid his way through college, was basically homeless for a year after college so he could save money, and became pretty damn successful for someone who grew up in something the size of your average houses kitchen.
now show me anyone on welfare that you know of that has worked that hard to support themselves and their family and i might have some sympathy.
