Ar6s vs Ar7s.
have seen both these skis but need some advice, i mainly ride park and all mountain (but not pipe) and more rails than jumps. i want a ski that will slay the park but can also ride variable conditions (ice to slush). what do you guys think?

not true, the whole reason that they changed the name is because it is a different ski.

The ar7 is 87 underfoot and a bit stiffer then the ar6. It seems to have a decent amount more pop than I remebered the ar6 having

Which is a pretty big change. The ski is stiffer, slightly wider and has a lower swing weight.

I mean, there are so many forums about this already this proves nothing.
This argument should not be happening.
If anything google ar6 and google ar7 and compare!
...unless you are purely going to listen to what random people have to say, only a limited number of people have ridden the ar7. There is no snow here so I will continue to look at mine.
If anything, buying a new ski? get the ar7, buying used? get the ar6.
they are the same ski theoretically. Slight tech. improvements, as they should year to year, but really... how much can a ski differ from another?

I would say AR7, I haven't tried the skis, but why else would Armada change the AR6 other than to improve on the design? Unless you can find some AR6 for really cheap.

ar7s are wider, have the ar50 sidewall construction, they are stiffer, and a bit lighter
All times are Eastern (-5)
