their new cd is DA' FREAKIN' BOMB! i think its kinda cool how if you listen to the guys voice closely you can hear that he has a pretty bad lisp. still they rock.

for anyone who hasn't heard them, or has heard 'float on' on the radio and is considering buying one of their albums - definately go with 'moon and antarctica.' i'm pretty confident that any modest mouse fan is going to recommend that album over any of their others (including the new one), although they are all very good.
the only girl i've ever loved was born with roses in her eyes. but then they buried her alive one evening in 1945 with just her sister at her side and only weeks before the guns all came and rained on everyone. now she's a little boy in spain playing pianos filled with flames on empty rings around the sun.

I might recommend Lonesome Crowded West, it was the first cd I heard of theirs and may still be my favorite. It isn't as polished as Moon, but it is more rockin'

if your a first time listener deffinatly go with the moon and antarctica, but dont just listen to it while driving and stuff. it was one of those cd's that i had to listen closely to with headphones before i really appreciated it.
