Heyy,
i have to write a 5 page dub spaced essay on LINE Traveling Circus and i would like Newschoolers to help... My honors teachers decide it's a good idea to each assign an hour of homework, so my hands are full with homework at the moment.. Could you please take the time to post what you think to these two questions..

1. Why do You like Traveling Circus.

2. Why should my teacher watch it. (many students are writing about their favorite shows, so this is going up against those screwups from Jersey Shore..)

Essentialy your doing my homework..

1. Portrays skiing as skiing appears to (im searching for a word here...non - pros? haha), and shows a group of friends having fun skiing, something that anyone, pro or not pro, can relate to. Friends, laughing, skiing, fun.

maybe give some background on the explosion of video blogs/webisodes that have come around, and make some comparisons to JOVB and stuff

I like traveling sircus because it has my bestestest most favourites skeers off all times in it.

I would rekomend washing it becasuse it is so amazing.

you'r teacher should watch it because thats show how skier are determinated for skiing and they can do anything for just skiing somewhere.

1. Why do I like Traveling Circus?

Because i can relate to these guys. They aren't loaded with cash living in fancy hotels when they go on road trips all the time. Often they are sleeping in a car in a cup of noodles soup for lunch and giving it there all on the slope to put together some of the rawest material out there. For example in one episode they sleep in the car traveling across the united states and have to cash in on cans. I have done that for gas money. Also they set up summer set ups in their back yard and create some stupid sketchy stuff that makes think... could i try that? could i push myself to try that stuff. They give motivation and also create ideas for me to try new stuff. They Hippie killer and the bindsoul are now 2 of my favorite tricks thanks to Andy and Will? Why? because they original not only do few people do them. Ian Compton also adds a twist to the stupidness they do. Getting stuck in a tree? Who does that... I mean overall Ian just adds to the humor that just compliments and coincides with Traveling Circus. Its just a bunch of friends having a good time not worrying about anything just being chill. Overall its a just a good vibe. Not dissing on Chuglife here but Chug just posts a lot of parting but that's his thing. Traveling Circus cuts down on the junk, gives us skiing and comical stuff they do. making it a fantastic show.

2. Why should your teacher watch it?

Your teacher should watch it because if you ever had done something with friends that just brings you back to that time where everyone was having a chill time and enjoy each others company? Traveling Circus does just that; brings you back memories of times on the slopes where someone goofs up and everyone has a good laugh. Not only is it awesome skiing which should be watched none the less. it shows that you don't have to go all out skiing, you can use your resources available to you. For example when they went to construction sites and got left over wood and made rails. It's a reflection as ski community as a whole that we are productive and want to show that skiing is more than Moguls and slalom. We have a new edge and we aren't afraid to show it. Come watch it!

1. I watch tc because it always makes me laugh and has some very creative, original skiing.

2. Your teacher should watch it because A) its commical and B) it shows a part of skiing that very little people know about.

1. its creative and funny and the athletes r great. plus it shows the life on a dedicated skier.
2. its a new side of skiing many people dont know about. learning about a variation of a sport can be fun and exciting.

1. It shows the life's of semi-professional freeskiers and how hectic and comedic it can be. Also it is entertaining and it shows a sport that i love along with some of the top freeskiers and top freestyle maneuvers.

2. Your teacher may want to watch it for a few reasons. She can watch it and possibly be able to relate to students by knowing what their interests are. Also she may be able to find a new hobby that may interest her. (hahah i doubt it though)

It should be a cake walk, just talk about different stuff they do in each episode and what you liked about it and what it adds to the show as a whole.

i like it because its kind of a newer style to freeskiing and its different. they arent doing huge kickers and doing sunset photoshoots. theyre having fun and being themselves.

it proves you dont have to be a huge pro skier to be noticed. Andy isnt super good (no offense. i love him) but he has a different style of tricks. so he is noticed alot more than he would have if he wore tall tees 810's out of rails etc.

i love LTC!

LINE Traveling Circus



LINE Traveling Circus isn’t a show you would watch on MTV or Fox. LINE Traveling Circus (LINE TC) is about a two friends who grew up in Vermont and freestyle ski for LINE Skis. They travel across the United States picking up their friends along the way and shred at nearby ski resorts along the way. The two hosts of the show are Will Wesson and Andy Parry, they are both unique and talented skiers. This show is unique and different, yet it is not publicized, and fundamentally only the freestyle ski community fanatics know about this.
Why do I like L.T.C (LINE Traveling circus)? I like LTC for many diverse reasons, first, these guys are amazing professional skiers doing stuff I have never even seen before on skis. The T.C crew drives from Vermont (Will and Andy’s home state) to Colorado once or twice a season to meet up with their buddies and ski out west. These guys aren't loaded with cash living in fancy hotels when they go on road trips either. Often they are sleeping in a car, eating a cup of noodle soup for lunch and giving it their all on the slope to put together some of the most intriguing material out there. For example in one episode they sleep in the car traveling across the United States and have to cash in on cans so they can save some money on breakfast. Andy Parry (host) is one of the most innovative and creative skier in the terrain park. He has invented tricks that make viewers jaw’s drop and pause and think to themselves ‘How’d he do that?’. Along with the mind blowing tricks, this show has a nice twist of comedy involved too. A co-host who also lives in Vermont, named Ian Compton adds comedy and creates a new level of stupid, getting stuck in a tree with skis? I mean, who can do that? Ian Compton adds humor to the show and urges viewers to come back and watch the newest episode to crack a laugh. All the crew members of the Traveling Circus show a strong passion and bond for skiing that nothing could break.
Why should you watch this show? This show has changed my whole mindset on my future. I never really knew what I wanted to do with my life, I had no goals, nothing to look up too. Then one day on of my buds in school told me to check out Line Traveling Circus’s website. At the time I wasn’t big into the skiing; I would hit the slopes every winter and zoom around the mountain. That next weekend I had myself going crazy over freestyle skiing. The TC crew is a reflection of the ski community as a whole. There is more to skiing than racing, slalom and moguls. They also use their resources available to them, for example, they went to a construction site and picked up some left over wood to construct some rails. These guys show a new edge to the ski community and skiing is now the fastest growing sport in the world. This show has changed me and my view on action sports and actually has helped me fit in with a new group of friends here at the prep. I encourage you to watch this show, it is well worth your time and it may change you too!

I like Traveling Circus because of the great display of athleticism and because of the great use of comedy. The tricks take a great deal of determination and preactice and if you want to get good you need to practice. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!

1.) it reminds me of why i love the sport so much: hanging out with chill people, traveling places and doing random stupid stuff, all the good times skiing, building summer set ups, talking to random people...

1 theyre super creative with stuff to come up with nonski-wise though the things they come up with are still in the familyof skiing like last episode with the sand skiing how they took the time to try formica on the skis

2 youre not cool unitl you watch TC! (well if watching TC is cool call me Miles Davis)

1. To see the fatty skis really float in that deep fresh sand! Skinny skis just wouldn't do it! And because Will and Andy are badass.

2. Watch it because its awesome. those guys are amazing and make everything look easy while goofing around and not taking themselves seriously.  Watch it because it shows skiing from a lot of different perspectives!

And tell your teacher (if its a she) theres cuties in it! ha

deffinately, it's a whole lot easier to relate to that than a four minute, double flip filled, edit put to gangster rap (not that those aren't fun to watch). But the point is that it is more accessable to everyone who has ever had fun skiing.

that, and they're easily the most creative jib team in the indusrty, just cite a few examples like how they built a box out of snow and rocks in the newest one, while everyone else was at hood skiing on plexiglass and metal.

heres a tip:

when youre taking honors courses, it is in your best interest to not write papers about skiing.  sounds like you got a good thing going, do yourself a favor and dont screw yourself by writing about this.  there is no way youll come up with something worth passing in.

1. I like TC because it is very entertaining and they are some of my idols. They show what the skiing lifestyle is about.
2. He should watch it because it is funny, interesting, and well put together. It will give him an idea of what the life of a non-competitive professional skier is.
