Chad in Western New York (Holiday Valley). Advanced Type 3 skier that skies mostly jumps, groomers and trees. Not a huge jibber but I occasionally give it a try. Im 6' about 180-185lbs. Had AR6s for the past 2 seasons. Loved them. I have been trying to find something a little wider as I may be traveling more and like getting out in the fresh (even here) in the trees. My local shop is carrying both the AR7 and Revival and I am seeing positives about both but dont know which way to go. On one hand I know what the AR's are all about but the Revival are a little wider which may help to stay up a little more in fresh but seem alittle to jibby for me with the flat camber underfoot. I definitely want something that carves as that is pretty much all there is at Holiday. Opinion please +K for help. Should I just stick with my gut feeling and keep going with the AR7s?
Any other ski opinions would be good too. No budget really.
Thanks.
