all mods should be banned for a total of 24 hours...and it would be known as No mod day.  it would be awsome, just pure anarchy! 

it would prove 1 of two things:

1) the mods really are power drunk, banhammering computer nerds, and we survive just fine on our own

or

2) this site is really comprised of a bunch of destructive, stupid, immature jackasses, and we need the mods to regulate


if it is the later then it would make us appreciate the mods more, and stop bitching, and if it is the former, then green names should only be used for "Resort Usernames"

If the mods were not allowed to post or delete or ban etc. for 24 hours, but they still showed up as online, and NO ONE KNEW THEY COULDN'T DICTATE, I have a feeling we would do pretty well until about midnight or so. But overall the fact that we know there aren't mods on to do anything tempts us to do it

The Pink Floyd Sound, after Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. Syd Barret came up with it after realizing that the name they were going to use for a show was already taken by another band, the Tea Set.

Gilmour played in Joker's Wild before joining Pink Floyd.


Also, originally the band to become Pink Floyd was called Sigma 6 (it had 6 members)

right now he isn't representing ON3P. If you think everything he does in life represents the company, than thats your strange opinion, but i'd say when he's working as a mod on NS, he's representing the website and the mods, but that's it.

I would just like to ask a quick question that was brought on by the sentence above...

Do you guys think we actually get paid for being a mod?

We do it because we care about the site, and care about the industry. We want to see the community close and the sport united. A few companies offer to toss pro-form your way, but that's about it. If we didn't want the best for the site and the sport, we would not be going through and cleaning up all the bullshit that goes on day to day. We would leave the dick pictures and the 50+ spam threads we delete a day up in the forums.

I've seen it a shit show. There was that day last month, no mods were on. It was terrible. Houses were being raped and women were being burned.

We need the mods, there are too many kids on this site who think they can be an internet hot shot/bad ass. NS is a respectable community nowadays. There are ski industry reps visiting and contributing to this site.
Maybe back in the day when I was a 15 year old and just joined this site, we'd be able to manage it.
