Freeskier vs. Powder

So basically I'm getting one or the other. Which would you go for and why? What makes the magazine so good?

I've been and will continue to be a Freeskier fan - then again, I've never read Powder and my Freeskier subscription was free...

Freeskier is eye candy, ton's of photos, ads, and articles on the "popular" skiers.

Power has better articles, different perspectives on skiing (not just parkrat views).

imo powder is better, but that's cause I J.o over all dem powder shots

Powder is a skiers magazine. Freeskier is for people who happen to ski.

I had freeskier, I liked the photo content and thought the articles were good. I have never had powder but I got a subscription to that this year, so I'll see.

Freeskier is in desperate need of a good editor. So much repetition of trite words in their buyer's guide. Powder is a much better written publication, but Freeskier does have some cool photos and some interesting articles.
