i am writing a research paper on why i think that wider skis are better then narrow skis, and i need ideas of what to put into my research paper on why they are, i am thinking of mainly focusing on the better stability and more room for error and what not. any ideas of what else to include?

you dont need opinions if its a research paper, you need research. asking people online for their opinions on why they like a wide ski better in no way coutns as research. you might wanna look up the exact differences and research how that coordinates into a wider ski performing better in certain aspects

wide skis do well in powder and park, and jsut fine on groomers (my MSPs are perfect). skinny skis just suck. period

ye just that its easier to ride stuff out that you might not on skinny skis, but some bad stuff is extra weight, harder to make turns on hard pack, and less control, which really can be attributed to the other two,
ye you should tell the bad things too, not to say theyre bad but to provide more argument for your topic

Better flotation of course. and that's a fact jack. less side cut means longer turn radius+faster speeds.

wider skis superiority is found in the dimensions and waist tip and tail. Upon closer inspection, these dimensions are revealed to be bigger and are therefore superior.
hope this helps.

Peoples opinions can help direct research man. I dont think its a bad place to start research by finding out what the user of a product thinks.

i prefer wider skis but i you dont have any factual info to base a paper off of..that was my whole point, like what could you use rider preference for in a this paper, just to show that more people have wider skis, b/c there arent too many very skinny ones out there
