.wmv not uploading to youtube or vimeo?

so i editied this nice little edit in hd, rendered it in mwv format. Now i cant get it to upload. messages say on both websites..The upload failed due to an unknown error. anyone know whats up?

its 70.7 MB, and only 1:12 long..

well ive got sony vegas 7, and rendering to wmv files are the clearest. does anyone else no any other render settings that are just as good?
