Velvia Development Process question

I'm taking a photo class at school, we shoot TMAX 400 black and white film and develop it at school. If I were to shoot a roll of Velvia, could I develop it in the same chemicals as are used for the TMAX?

You'd need E-6 chemistry for Velvia. Most photo places don't process with E-6 anymore, so your options would be either to have somewhere local cross-process in C-41 (which usually results in a cyan cast), or mail it somewhere for development--I usually use Prauss Productions in New York. I hope that helps!

Find the 5 dollar mailers form b and h, they are fuji mailers. They go to a fuji lab, get developed and you get mounted slides back in like two weeks.
