Amplid Top Sheet Shifting

I dont know if this is a common fault among ski manufactures but I was looking at my brand new amplid antidogmas before getting them mounted .I ended up measuring the tips to tails just to make sure that the center mark line was in the right spot ( 4frnt Tech Talk said to do this ) and what do you know its 10 mm off. So the topsheets had shifted 10 mm. Is this a common fault?

Kind of common. Never mount without checking if the mounting line is correct.

Just to clarify... Was the center mark of one ski 10mm behind the other? Or were both center marks 10mm behind of what was measured as center?

Either way... Occasionally top sheets do shift during manufacturing so you should always double check before mounting.

The center point on the Antidogma is measured contact point to contact point. If you measure the entire ski tip to tail the center mark will appear to 10mm back. This is because the nose has a more "gradual" rise while the tail has a "quicker" rise.
