Given that you're a Grateful Dead fan, here's a bit of trivia:
In 1969, the Dead played at my high school, Campolindo HS.
Two students put on Santana in the fall and the Dead in the spring for fundraising for their senior class. It's such a shame we don't do good stuff like that these days, all we ever have are shitty bake sales. That said, there are few bands we'd be able to book for cheap that are actually good these days...
Anyway, listen to a recording of the concert the Dead put on here and read some reviews by students who attended...
