The BoomBus AWD Debuts

So our team just nabbed this whip in hopes that we'll be able to take it all over Tahoe, Mammoth, Utah and Jackson Hole this season.

About the BoomBus: The BOOM-BUS is a 2005 GMC Savanna with AWD. Yes, we will be taking it to the snow…often. We ripped out everything in the interior and threw in a bench for our crew members, as well as enough storage for about 1000 SkullyBoom SB1s. Newschooler member, Pronto Cuts (www.prontocuts.com) took care of the die-cut vinyl.

The BOOM-BUS is decked in a tank-like matte black finish with blacked out tail lights (Tinted by Audio Images in Belmont, CA). Lastly, we’ve added some 7-inch rally lights to the front to navigate our way into the craziest renegade parties in the pacific.

Yes...blacked out tail lights are illegal... but if you know cops that sign off all your fix-it tickets, you're in the clear.


^^And YES...there is over 2000 watts of Pro Audio on the move all the time, and a bunch of lil' SkullyBooms too.

That's a sick idea. At my local hill I saw a van with nothing but the two front seats, and the entire back was carpeted- ceiling, walls and floor, with benches on either side and racks on the roof for skis. 2L2Q~

I didnt know that i thought they were legal everywhere.

im just so use to seeing people with them here in idaho i guess. Even though i think they are for people that dont know how to drive in the snow.

Yeah we make these water resistant mini speakers. They have a clip on them too so you can pretty much slap them like a boombox everywhere. Most people just use them when they're chillin' out...

Personally my favorite is using the 5-way splitter and wedging the speakers into the lip of our jumps in the BC to have some tunes pump you up when you take off.

So where do you find these racks that fold off to the side? That would be super clutch as we also have an issue with clearance in some garages.

With the wheels, we just wanted to wear these tires out to the max, and then we're getting some black chrome 18" with uber nobby tires....

i hate you more and more every day. first, you still eheath's icon then refuse to change it. now you make a bullshit assertion about something you clearly have never researched.

we have studded snows on our saab and my subaru. they are illegal from like may to september or something, when you don't need them, so as long as you swap your all seasons back on for that period, you're good.

It's not a bad idea to run a contest, but we really do just wanna build the buzz around our product. It's the kind of thing that you gotta see in person to really understand how awesome they are.
