Alright ns, I'm in my sophomore year in high school. I play hockey and soccer. So for soccer, we're most likely going to go to the playoffs, but that will interfere with hockey practices. So my parents decided they would let it slide (not sure why but they never let me do anything if hockey isn't the first choice...).
A week ago I got an invitation to go to a soccer showcase in Tennessee in December ( I live in Wisconsin.), and due to the fact that I have 2 hockey games that week, my parents will not let me go. What can I tell my parents to let me go to this tournament, which I am almost guaranteed to be looked at by scouts?
Things I have tried already-
It's two games...
Scouts will be there, where as I know I have like no chance at hockey
My parents have said:
"We're paying $1300 dollars for you to play high school hockey, and you can't even do anything around the house. Why would we let you go to Tennessee?"
And also I need to tell the organizers of this event soon. I'm pretty late as it is.
