free healthcare is canada
ham is bacon in canada
life is great in canada
america is weak

Canada is great
There is some great steak
Most people have less weight
How many lines in two stanzas? Probably 8

Hahhhah disreguard the part about lines

Why live south when you can go north
Only idiots celebrate july 4th
the canadian flag should be brought forth
and shut out the people who go back and forth

asked the curious Canadian
no time to write
no brain to think
why o why do our school ships sink
not from the weight of our intellect
not from the way our mounties act

We flood the streets to show our pride
for a hockey team that left and headed state side
NHL records broken in their new home
like a Canadian born comedian never coming back
A white rabbit hidden in americas hat
only a fool would hope for a nordique return
15 years later, never a lesson learned

i hail from stark points of frosty ice,
enveloping my blustered face,
huddled deep into my sealskin parka
my whalebone spear cocked aimlessly
as i pray for a seal to slip to the surface,
allowing me to return as a village hero
and win the coveted trust of chief wanooka.

I cannot erase the jaws of the orca
as it tore through my mother's flesh
shaking her as a child would a ragged doll
as i sat and watched,
pinned down by shards of my igloo.
now an orphan lay beneath the blocks of ice
staring the gods in the face,
praying for mercy from the great killers

canada you have taught me how to be a man
now confronted with the black and white killers,
i beat them with my hockey stick,
and run and warn chief wanooka,
in hopes of becoming a village hero
