Im hoping to get a job at one of them but I dont have a car. Is there any sort of daily bus system that runs from the city to any of the mountains?

Not a practical idea at all, just get a part time job near where you live so you can afford a ski pass. I've never seen the appeal of working at resorts... the only benefit is a free pass which really isn't that valuable considering the trade offs of early and long hours, generally shitty pay, and working all day while you can see everyone else shredding pow. Combine that with the hassle of working 30+ minutes away when you don't have a car and that sounds aweful.
sorry for being a debby downer just sayin maybe you should reconsider, unless you want to work in the ski resort industry for the rest of your life there's not much point.

Personally I would not want a job in the mountains without a car. There is a bus system that runs but you would have to make sure you lived near one of the stops. Also taking the bus up the canyon takes soo long. Its a mistake I made once and never again. I dont know what your life situation is but if you cant commit a 40 hour week to the resorts its gonna be pretty tough to get a job. One of the only reasons I got a job at Alta last year is because I didnt have a schedule and was able to work whenever.
