Replacing the griffons but super stoked on a new early season/rock/touring ski
my dad has two pairs of those. one with an edge that ripped out for a foot along with the base than we jb welded back in. fun ski. somehow his 200 lbs has not blow up the squires on either pair lol

Larger/better sensor, improved stabilization, Max Lens Mod 2.0 offers a super wide view (excited to see how good it looks skiing), improved battery life, specialized night modes (wanted specifically for the northern lights in Iceland).
I didn't go Max because I already have an Insta360 X2 for 360 video. I personally consider 360 and regular action cameras as totally different cameras for different uses. There's some overlap in what they can do, but for top video quality, the 360 cams just aren't there yet compared to a dedicated action cam.
I use my GoPro pretty frequently in the winter, and this will be a good step up from my 9. Compared to the 5 or 6, this one would be a massive improvement.

how do you prevent your gopro from dying while skiing? I have an 8 and it's never been great but now it sometimes dies on a full battery within minutes of taking it out of my pocket. I wouldn't mind upgrading to a 12 but I'm so suspicious about cold weather performance now that I'm hesitant to give gopro any more of my money

My sister has been fighting cancer this year and is doing really well despite a terrible

These were factory finds from the most recent drop, 191 Jeffrey 102's with the point break topsheet. Super stoked, because this is almost exactly how I would spec a custom Jeff.
I was really looking for Mango's, but I'm 6'6 and ON3P said they couldn't do a custom Mango 100 in 191, so those weren't an option.

ah hell yeah. i impulsively bought a pair of point breaks. they are 186 but they are taller than my armada 188s so im stoked on it.
