Was hoping to get em lower but was bidding against a bot, so I just hit buy now cause $150 for two new radios is a bargain.
No.QuarterDid you go Charger RCT3 or RC2?
I've been considering doing that upgrade to my Revalation RC instead of shelling out for a new Pike Ultimate, but first I should definitely just get a full suspension service and upgrade to the new Debonair Spring
Monsieur_PatateWow, that's a steal!
BCA radios are nice and sturdy, good battery and the smart mic is cool, just a bit of a ripoff at msrp imo.
BCA is pretty much alone on this specific BC skiing radio segment so they milk it as much as possible, can't blame them, but I find the $180 retail price per radio for a 2 watt radio way too steep, when you can get a quality motorola + good shoulder mic for less than half of that.
But good find, $75 per radio, makes it a no brainer!

jblaskiI went with the RC3. I didn't think that I would really need that amount of adjustment to justify the RC2. I'm not racing or biking for money, so having a simple climb/trail/decent switch was enough for me. I also did the Debonair spring last summer, and it definitely helped. But I figured since I was spending money, might as well go all-in with the Push kit. Once installed, I'll rent a Shock Wiz and get it dialed.
No.QuarterHate to break your bubble, but I don't think the ShockWiz is compatible with a coil, even though the Push kit has the air charged bottom out damper. Maybe useful if you install the Charger first while you still have the air spring though.

Bit the bullet just now on these at a ski shop, mainly between these and the rustler 10s, they had a dictator 3.0 but the sidewall had a little shot in it. Figured I’d try a normal fairly stiff ski before going up to a lot metal, maybe I’ll get them for the resort but these should have a kingpin soon for touring, stoked.
danbrownneeded a new speaker for the beach/camping
Bened_notnilMeanwhile, wherever this guy is, a nordica ski ruins another life...

And with that I've decided to do the Superior Hiking Trail this summer. I also bought $10 worth of tyvek, cuz I'm not spending $70 on a footprint.
Turd__AuthoritySo fucking stupid companies sell tents without the footprint these days.
Titus69Lol explain?

Titus69Couldn’t afford a carrera S?
Titus69I’m honestly kinda scared to own a pair of these
OregonDeaddo you still have to add that thing to your boot to use those?

Titus69I see the thing you’re talking about now, at least on their site my boots aren’t listed, my friend who’s pretty smart with this stuff and is gonna mount them has used a demo ski with kingpins this year and has their alpinist binding and never saw him use them for his technicas. Gonna be interesting the first few days, minor weekend snow I’m blows into to 5” of windbuff, then maybe a glacier (kinda) ski Memorial Day that could be crusty, gonna be stomping them around the carpet testing that release lol.
danbrownI think you’re thinking of the dynafit beast, not the kingpin. you have to drill this horseshoe shaped thing into the rear of your boot to work with the beast.

OregonDeadyes I was 100% thinking about that horseshoe thing. that was the beast not the kingpin. thanks for clearing this up danbrown
Titus69Kingpin does still have this, might require a heel one too for some bindings but idk, kinda weird we still don’t have it all universal but I can see why not.

danbrownI see. I'm not totally familiar so correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that adapter is only needed to use those specific 5 boots, whereas I think the adapter for the beast is needed for all boots.
