I think this is my third year making a new mail and Spotify account in December to be able to get that super cheap deal. Cant pass up 3 months for just over 1$ even if I have to spend a few minutes signing up new accounts and transferring playlists to get it.

Neuvation FC500. Two years mine this month, and the full build came in at $2200, but she's getting worn.
Never liked c.p.'s boots tbh, too clunky, they give off a fancy dr. Martens vibe to me personally.
But then again I'm a dainty European and most boots here are on a last so svelte Americans might mistake them for pumps and call us fairies.

Lettering can be rubbed off with an eraser, part of the charm. I wouldn't ever let the country of origin play as a determining factory in choosing clothing (or what else). Chinese Immigrants in Italy/UK are better then normal Chinese btw. Training, selection and proper machines go a looooooong way, also that's the lower end of the market. But in the end it's the product that counts and that's were Italy and the UK in general are leaps and bounds ahead of the US, except for Cordovan shoes, you cowboys understand horses unlike we do.
Producing 100 years =/= quality. I've had Red Wings (thank you internet workwear hype) and besides the clown last the leather is atrocious. Both brands thrive on workwear and they do that well but their more 'fashion conscious' line leaves imo a lot to be desired (also I rate Wolverine far higher then Red Wings) that said, was comparing the two countries in general.

C.P.'s are clearly marketed as a fashion boot, doesn't matter what the end user intends to use them for but he said winter boot, despite the softer leather the C.P.s will compare favorable in this situation to Iron Rangers due to the crepe vs leather sole. With proper care both will do the job fine, I suspect Bunny isn't one to shovel dirt in 4 feet of snow and kicking trashcans days on end.

K2 has been making ski boots (which are lightyears more technical than what common projects makes) for what... 3 years now right? all while making some of the best freeride boots in the industry right from the get-go and slapping a made in Italy tag on them to boot (NPI)... all while being K2 - a company that makes most of it's shit straight up in china.
...I mean, I wouldn't call them Phony bullshit (maybe you would) but even if they are, I totally want a pair, and that's all that matters when it comes to selling stuff, right?
Sure, Langes and Nordicas and Technica's have been around since bellbottom jeans, but I'd consider a K2 or, lets say a Garmont - which only started making ski boots about 15 years ago (Garmont is now Scott, btw) to be equal if not better in some respects over those other brands.

Most of the shoes that WWW makes are all made in actual china (Saucony, Keds, Chaco, Merrell, etc) and much of the shoes Red Wing makes (including the Vasque brand) are made either in China or with Imported materials anyway... so at the end of the day - quality aside, you're supporting a very large company that's outsourcing production regardless of your original intention.

Just so you know, they have a model of iron rangers with vibram soles, and next year theyre expanding the iron ranger line to incorporate that
